Drink more water than usual. You should consume 2 to 4 eight ounce cups of water every hour when outside for long periods of time, when performing strenuous work or exercising. Another way to stay cool is to take refreshing lukewarm bath or shower to lower your body temp.

Wear Light Clothing

Keep in mind that wearing loose, lightweight and light colored clothing will keep the air circulation flowing and the heat away from your body. Avoid wearing black because it can attract and direct heat to you. Also consider wearing a hat or visor to protect your face, which can be the most sensitive.
